The basic principle of care is to rinse the inside of the shower enclosure, shower tray or bathtub with running water. Thus, we get rid of the residues of all chemicals. The rest of the drops on the windows should be wiped dry with a soft cloth.

Acrylic bathtubs and shower trays should be wiped with a cloth soaked in water after each bath with soap or washing-up liquid and rinse with warm water. If there is hard water in our region, it is worth wiping it dry after cleaning the surface - this prevents scale build-up.

Regularly, the entire shower enclosure should be cleaned with a soft cloth, and materials with rough structures should not be used. Only mild chemicals designed for this type of task should be used for periodic cleaning. The glas in the shower enclosure can be easily cleaned using products dedicated to cleaning windows. A solution of citric acid or a mixture of water and vinegar is ideal to remove limescale deposits. It should be borne in mind that for shower enclosures with the Glass Protect system, the use of inappropriate cleaning agents is tantamount to the loss of the warranty on it. Thus, we want to emphasize the importance of proper hygiene in order to be able to take full advantage of the possibilities of our products.

Users of acrylic bathtubs and shower trays should remember a few basic rules of their use, thanks to which they are able to enjoy their products for many years. Scouring powders and cleansing milks should not be used for washing acrylic products. Most of them contain abrasive particles that scratch the surface and can tarnish it over time, which in the long run leads to the formation of a more difficult-to-remove sediment in these micro-cavities. We should also not use sharp sponges with a very rough surface, because they can also tarnish the acrylic layer. Cleaners for acrylic and mineral castings should not contain ammonia, acetone and alcohol. The good news for all owners of acrylic bathtubs and shower trays is that any scratch, scratch, tarnish and small crack can usually be easily removed with a repair kit and polishing paste (water-based sandpaper and polishing paste). Such a kit allows you to remove minor damage. After properly performed treatment, there should be no trace of damage, and the surface of the bathtub regains its smooth and shiny surface.
