Bathroom and toilet - together or separately?

Bathroom and toilet - together or separately?

Bathroom and toilet - together or separately? This is a big dilemma faced by many people who are building a house or arranging or renovating an apartment. There is no clear answer here. It is certainly a matter of taste, but it is worth paying attention to several aspects, such as the number of household members, the frequency of visits by guests, as well as habits, and most importantly - surface possibilities.

The discussion of whether a toilet should be inside or outside the bathroom has been going on for years. It is difficult to clearly opt for any of the options, because for and against there are many aspects that should be analyzed. These are the size of the bathroom, the number of people living in a given premises, and finally the tastes and individual preferences of users.

Certainly, the bathroom, in which the toilet is a separate room, is more intimate, and many people indicate greater hygiene. An additional advantage is the fact that both rooms can be used at the same time, which works especially well in houses with many household members. A bathroom without a toilet certainly seems more spacious. This gives more freedom of arrangement. In such an interior, it is much more pleasant to take a shower or a relaxing bath in a bathtub.

When deciding on the option with a separate toilet, it is worth remembering that there is a place for at least a small washbasin in it. This is definitely more practical than going to another room to wash your hands.

Proponents of a bathroom with a toilet put forward arguments regarding the convenience, because toilet and bathing needs can be arranged in one place. This solution is recommended especially in small houses or apartments. A separate bathroom and a toilet on a small area mean that these rooms can be uncomfortable. Then it is also worth using a shower enclosure, instead of a bathtub, to save space.

It is often used to separate the toilet with a small wall from the rest of the bathroom. Thanks to this, we have a separate private part, and everything is still in one room.
