This season, the retro style is certainly leading, especially in Polish bathrooms. A reference to the crazy years from the Belle Époque period is certainly a theme that works in a room of any size. So how to arrange a bathroom in a retro style? Freestanding or built-in bathtub? Elements with gold or maybe white? Probably these and many other questions accompany people who are just arranging their dream bathroom. Retro style is, among others, characteristic of the 60s. For ease of use, we can divide it into two additional trends: colorful with a hint of madness and elegant with a milder character. Retro bathroom: where to start
After selecting the bathtub, it is time for fittings. In this case, it is also worth paying attention to the shape of the washbasin and other elements. A good direction of arrangement is to be consistent with the bathtub. For this reason, it is worth choosing bathroom accessories from the same series. Once we have a bathtub and full fittings, it is time for walls and floors. Here the possibilities are really big. A colorful combination of tiles or pure white throughout the room, highlighted with accessories in intense colors. It is accessories such as mirrors, baskets or lamp shades that create the entire retro atmosphere. Vintage decorations are a "must have" of each bathroom in this climate. An antique dressing table with a patterned seat, porcelain soap dishes, a wooden bar - the possibilities are practically endless, which is why so many people reach for this style.
