A memorial plaque was placed in front of the house in Kreuzau where Urban Thelen lived.

Our western neighbours also presented their region, principles of cooperation and cooperation between the commune and county, the scope of implemented tasks of local governments and the operation of their subordinate schools. In addition to Kreuzau and Düren, the delegates also visited the Nideggen Castle as well as Cologne and Aachen, and also visited the HOESCH company headquarters in Kreuzau. During the stay, the Polish delegation stayed at the newly opened Dorint Hotel, whose hotel bathrooms were equipped with Hoesch products, part of the Sanplast group
